Starting Your Car…Yea, There’s an App for That
It’s that time of year again, when warming up your car is a must. If you’re lazy like me, the remote starter has been the best invention since the remote control. The Viper SmartStart from Directed Electronics is an iPhone compatible application that allows you to lock, unlock, start, open your trunk and sound the alarm all with the touch of a button, err screen that is. This app works anywhere with a cell phone signal. You could literally lock your car from another state. You do need to have the SmartStart installed in your car for this to work, and if you do have one it can be converted to work with any existing remote starter. Q&A with Import Model, Ashley Labady

HR – How long have you been modeling?
AL – I just started this year.
HR – How did you get your first break?
AL – I actually started doing runway fashion shows for fun and then I started getting asked to work at import events
HR – What is the best/worst part about being an import model?
AL – I love being an import model, Its always fun meeting new people, traveling and of course we get to take pictures with awesome cars all day long…What’s bad about that?!?!? hehe
HR – What is your favorite car show/auto event?
AL – SPOCOM ALL THE WAAY
HR – What do you like to do in your spare time?
AL – I love going to the beach, especially with my 2 year old nephew Jonah “SO CUTE”, I also play piano, basketball, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, love yoga and cuddling with my two kitties, Isabella & Italia.
HR – If you had never become a model where do you see yourself?
AL – Well I am actually a bartender at Hooters and have always wanted to be a bartender, so either bartending or acting.
HR – If you could have any car in the world, what would it be?
AL – Ooh wow…ANY CAR?????? I looove Ferrari’s or a GTR. 
HR – What is your guilty pleasure?
AL – Churros!!! Omg I am sooo bad, I get off work from bartending at 2am and drive through Del Taco just to get a Churro…haha
HR – What is your most embarrassing moment?
AL – Ha I have had plenty of those…hmmm let me just pick one, I guess once when I was at the beach one time, a couples umbrella was blowing away in the wind and I started running after it for them, I ended up falling in a huge hole that I didn’t see. It was funny and embarrassing at the same time.
HR – If there was something you wanted the world to know about you what would it be?
AL - I could be a doctor
HR – Finish this statement…if I were stuck on a deserted island and could only take 3 things, they would be…
AL – A boat so I could still travel to other places, my lip gloss, and a radio
HR – Then you wouldn’t be stuck on the island, silly…Haha
