Redline Time Attack Test Day Tomorrow
Friday, February 26th Test Event at Willow springs will be open to all drivers, regardless if you are a Licensed Redline Time Attack Driver or not.
According to RTA, “Due to the high demand we received for this event, we decided to open it up to anyone interested in coming out and participating in the event.”
So if you’re interested in racing in the Time Attack season, this is a great opportunity to take care of getting your license and vehicle tech card.
The Official Test Day will be run similar to an Open Track Day, with multiple run groups, broken into groups based on the Time Attack Class of the car being used (Enthusiast, Street Tire, Modified, Super Modified). RTA competitors may opt to have their vehicle Tech Inspected at this event in order to avoid the Tech process at the first event of the season (Buttonwillow). All vehicles must go through a thorough tech process prior to being permitted on track for a Time Attack day. This is a great opportunity to save yourself a ton of time by not having to wait in line at Buttonwillow.
